Little man tucked into his breakfast this morning with lots of enthusiasm, I gave him a rusk mixed with formula and he had all but a spoonful of it. Much better reaction to milk based foods now hes back on pepti, if he takes to the nutramigen after a second try I'll have to use a milk substitute like oat milk.
Todays new food is courgette! Morgan had courgette, carrot and sweet potato for lunch and loved it. Only had about half the serving but we were at a friends house with 3 toddlers around him so there was plenty to distract him, he did really well though.
Dinner time seems to be getting earlier and earlier, its gone from 5pm back to 3.45pm, so I was mean mummy and refused to feed him till 4pm. Lots of distractions from cuddles, toys and his dummy and we made it to 4pm. I really don't want to be giving him dinner before 4 as it will have a knock on effect to the whole bath and bedtime routine.
A little update on little mans little bottom! The skin seemed less red this morning but the broken skin was bleeding, by this evening it had stopped bleeding but still looks really sore. The nutramigen appears to be out of his system already so hopefully his skin will start to recover properly now.

- I'm mummy to 2 gorgeous babies. DD is 2 years old and DS is 7 months. Both babies have reflux and food allergies. Weaning my daughter was a traumatic, lonely and frightening experience as despite having food allergies myself, how on earth do I wean a baby with allergies?? Now I'm weaning again, I'm so much more confident. It has prompted me to share our journey with you so parents and carers dealing with food allergies can be assured they are not alone.
